Course
Move from managing tasks to leading people - influence, feedback, and team development.
Overview
The IT Project Management Course is a practical, beginner-friendly program designed for people who want to start a career in IT Project Management, strengthen their existing PM knowledge, or transition into the technology industry.
Over 2 months of live training, you will learn how IT projects are managed in real working environments — from receiving a business idea and defining project scope to planning delivery, managing Agile teams, handling risks and changes, communicating with stakeholders, and successfully releasing a product.
The course combines Project Management fundamentals, Agile and Scrum practices, real IT workflows, practical tools, case studies, and interview preparation. The focus is not only on learning terminology, but on understanding what a Project Manager actually does every day and how to make decisions when real project challenges arise.
What You Will Learn
You will learn how to:
Understand the role and responsibilities of an IT Project Manager Understand the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements to release and maintenance Work with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid project environments Organize and facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement Work effectively with Product Owners, developers, QA engineers, designers, business teams, and other stakeholders Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria Break down project work and create structured delivery plans Write and manage requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria Work with Epics, Stories, Tasks, Bugs, Product Backlogs, and Sprint Backlogs Apply Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) Estimate and prioritize work using techniques such as Story Points, Planning Poker, MoSCoW, Value vs. Effort, and WSJF Plan team capacity and use Agile metrics such as velocity to support forecasting Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers Handle scope changes through a structured Change Management process Manage releases and coordinate development, QA, business, and other teams for successful go-live Build an effective stakeholder engagement and communication strategy Prepare project status reports and communicate with senior management Handle difficult stakeholders, team conflicts, changing priorities, missed deadlines, and resource challenges Use Jira and Confluence to organize and manage project work Understand project governance, reporting, OKRs, and project performance tracking Prepare for real Project Manager interviews using practical questions and scenario-based cases Learn Through Real Project Situations
The course is built around practical situations that Project Managers regularly face.
You will discuss cases such as:
What happens when management changes priorities in the middle of a Sprint?
How should a PM respond when a critical dependency threatens a deadline?
What should you do when a stakeholder sends tasks directly to your team outside the agreed project scope?
How do you handle conflict between a Product Owner, QA, and Development team?
What happens when requirements enter the backlog without technical validation?
How should you communicate when a client is unhappy with a project result?
When should a Project Manager escalate an issue to management?
You will learn how to analyze these situations, understand their impact on scope, timeline, resources, quality, and risks, and choose an appropriate response.
Practical Project Management Skills
Throughout the program, you will develop skills that can be applied directly in an IT environment.
Instead of only studying Project Management theory, you will practice thinking like a PM: asking the right questions, identifying risks early, making trade-offs visible, keeping stakeholders informed, protecting the team from unnecessary scope changes, and keeping delivery aligned with business goals.
You will also learn an important principle of modern Project Management:
A Project Manager does not simply manage tasks — they manage expectations, communication, risks, priorities, people, and business outcomes.
Career & Interview Preparation
The course also prepares you for the next step: entering the job market.
You will work with common Project Manager interview questions and practical scenarios covering Agile, Scrum, SDLC, stakeholder management, risk management, change management, prioritization, release management, team leadership, communication, and problem-solving.
You will learn how to structure answers using real examples and the STAR method — Situation, Task, Action, Result — so you can demonstrate not only what you know, but how you would apply your knowledge in a real project.
